Why introduce paid subscriptions?

Running the service involved hosting, AI processing, and development costs. As a solo developer, I introduced Premium to help cover those costs and continue working on the tool.

What remained free

The launch announcement retained free daily conversions, with an account increasing the allowance. Free access remained part of the service; paying was an option for people who needed more.

What Premium announced

The original announcement described unlimited monthly conversions, an enhanced model, priority processing, and priority email support. These were the advertised launch benefits. Later edits inserted newer features and a 500-page limit into this same article; they should not be read as January launch terms.

Pricing context
