Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ScanToExcel - whether through our website or any related service - you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply equally to all users: anonymous visitors, free account holders, and Premium subscribers.
Service Description
You must have authority to upload the documents. You retain your rights in uploaded material; you authorize the processing needed to provide the requested conversion through our service providers. Review AI-extracted results before relying on them. Do not misuse accounts, bypass limits, upload malicious material or infringe others’ rights.
On every plan, predefined export labels are in English regardless of interface language; extracted document text and source-table headers generally follow the document’s language.
Subscriptions & Payments
Premium is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until cancellation takes effect. It is not a one-time purchase. Review the price and billing period before subscribing. Stopping use or signing out does not cancel the subscription.
Use the account billing page to open the billing portal and review the cancellation options and effective date. Contact democraticdeveloper@gmail.com if access fails or a cancellation appears not to have worked. A missing confirmation alone does not invalidate a request. Cancellation, a refund request and statutory withdrawal are distinct.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Abuse, overload, or intentionally degrade our servers or infrastructure
- Use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the service or its underlying technology
- Upload malicious files, scripts, or content designed to compromise the service
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to circumvent rate limits or usage tiers
- Share, resell, or redistribute access to a Premium subscription
- Upload content that infringes on the rights, privacy, or intellectual property of others
Disclaimer of Warranties
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. We do not guarantee perfect extraction or compatibility with every document. Any limitations of liability must respect applicable law. Material changes to paid service terms require appropriate notice and cannot remove remedies that the law provides. Suspension for misuse does not automatically forfeit all prepaid fees.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our service, practices, or applicable law. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
For significant changes that affect your rights or our obligations, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of ScanToExcel after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
