- Yes. Free is single-file, Free+ batches up to 5 receipts at once, and Premium batches up to 50. Each receipt is processed individually. Free+ and Premium add email delivery, and Premium can additionally deliver the batch as a single ZIP or merge it into one combined export.
- Is my receipt data stored on your servers?
- No. ScanToExcel processes all receipts entirely in memory. Your files are never stored, logged, or retained after processing. The service uses a privacy-first architecture that is fully GDPR compliant.
- What file formats can I export my receipt data to?
- Every tier exports to Excel (XLSX), CSV, Word (DOCX) and JSON. Premium additionally exports native Xero CSV — ready to import directly into Xero with no manual mapping. (QuickBooks Online uses its own OCR for receipts and doesn't accept CSV import for them, so we don't generate a QuickBooks CSV here.) Output is a clean, flat single-sheet table by default.
