Five more languages for ScanToExcel
Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, and Dutch joined ScanToExcel on February 1, 2026. With English, German, and French already available, this brought the website to eight languages.

Five new language versions
German and French had launched in January. The next expansion added five more language versions using the localization structure already in place.
What was localized
The expansion covered navigation, converter pages, news articles, the FAQ, and documentation. The links below lead to the language versions announced in this update.
Why expand the language coverage?
The aim was to make the tool easier to use without requiring people to navigate an English interface. Language coverage describes who could use a localized version; it is not a measure of how many people actually used the service.
Plans at publication
Further work on accuracy, speed, and the interface was planned. This post announced the language rollout rather than a timetable for those later improvements.
